Her experience spans working as a main stream English teacher, through to running a large Ethnic Minority Achievement Department in an Inner London School. Her strength is in partnership teaching and developing EAL resources with mainstream teachers. She now works with teachers and manager to improve EAL provision in schools across London. Her work has been recognized in a DCSF video and in a training DVD funded by Comic Relief. Her career in education has spanned seventeen years and includes working in Australia and the UK as mainstream English, literacy coordinator and an EAL teacher and EMA manager.
