My Profile

I have been working as an EMAS teacher in two different schools and as a Consultant for the Turkish and Kurdish boys in Islington.

At the two schools I do partnership teaching in class and also give Turkish GCSE lessons to primary school children and their parents after school. The success rate among the children and parents was over 90% (A* - C) in 2007.

I also run Numeracy Workshops for the Turkish Speaking parents in different schools in Islington for the Numeracy Project, which started in 2006.

Turkish and Kurdish Children's Maths SATs success is better in project schools than non-project schools.
