Before you make your application, consider the following actions:

Talk to your child - Find out what is best for them.

Visit the schools that interest you - Attend Open Days, talk to Headtechers and staff.

Consider how your child will get to school.

Don't listen to gossip - What is right for other children may not be the same for your child.

Attend Secondary School Admissions Event at the Business Design Centre - visit the Cambridge Education Admissions website for the exhibition and other events dates.

Do your research - Look at exam results and Ofsted reports.

Read the school prospectus - available from the school.

How realistic is your school choice? - Look at the admissions criteria and cut off distances for each school.

Talk to the School Admissions Team.
